Executive Business Coaching

carol-barnes-business-skills-trainerCarol completed the Masters level 7 ILM in Executive Coaching with an additional diploma in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and uses this powerful combined approach to help people dissolve age-old barriers that currently inhibit their success.  Through careful listening and astute insight Carol supports leaders to develop clear action plans to improve personal and organisational performance. Carol provides one-to-one support and development to individuals who need:

  • A critical friend
  • To clarify personal or professional direction
  • To be challenged to expand thought processes to increase creativity

Carol is a member of the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC), and regularly attends development meetings for CPD to keep her coaching skills bright. Carol says, “Learning from others at the EMCC network meetings is a fantastic experiential development opportunity! I find other experienced coaches willing to challenge my delivery style, encouraging me always to see new ways of working with clients to get ensure they get the best from coaching sessions.”

Vice-Chairman of a successful community organisation and a qualified EFQM Assessor, Carol successfully combines business management experience with qualifications in Company Direction from the Institute of Directors to support others in developing clear business plans that identify strategic priorities in:

  • Business planning
  • Marketing and sales planning
  • Financial planning
  • People management

Carol helps strategic managers write business plans for specific target audiences – stakeholders, financiers and operations managers for example. Carol’s CPD for 2010-2011 is a further Masters level 7 qualification in Business and Management Consulting with the Institute of Management Consultants.

Business Mediation

Having studied the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) level 7 in Executive Coaching with Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), Carol successfully combines business management experience with qualifications in Company Direction from the Institute of Directors. She uses her skills to mediate between different levels of an organisation to reduce conflict and produce positive progress in difficult relationships.

Carol has successfully facilitated improvements in business relationships between managers and staff in public and private sector organisations, helping them to achieve agreements and overcome personal barriers to successful working relationships.
