Civil Service Schools Mentoring Programme

I worked with Karen Tidsall on the Civil Service Schools Mentoring Programme as we were wanting to train our cohort of 60 mentors to give them the skills and expertise to mentor pupils from disadvantaged backgrounds on a one to one and group basis. After giving Karen a brief and aims of the programme, she created a bespoke handbook for our mentors. Karen arranged for one of the interchange team, Catherine Hamilton, to deliver sessions to the mentors which gave them the confidence, tools and motivation to mentor in schools across the UK.
